I was in St Louis as a professional photographer for a convention. At the end of the day, I wanted the opportunity to photograph the St. Louis Arch in the glow of the setting sun. With my camera gear in hand, I ran several blocks to find a place to photograph the arch before the golden hour ended. I was able to find this imposing angle of the arch. I had to hastily take the picture before the golden glow disappeared. I snapped the picture at just the right moment.
